Thanks for sharing this, I absolutely loved it! The closest I’ve ever got to floristry is making Christmas wreaths, and they have approximately zero flowers 😂. I so admire the artistry in floral arrangements, it’s really interesting to hear about the behind the scenes!

Thank you, Louise! I really appreciate that. I'll definitely share a bit more of the behind the scenes.

Wreath making is hard work though, I teach lots of wreathmaking classes and there's definitely skill involved.

Oh please do! I loved the wreath making - ended up volunteering to assist with making a dozen or so preorder ones - the workshop was for a village charity. Loved it!

Your post Sarah was pretty much exactly what I do to. Honestly, I could have been rereading my own. Only you write eloquently! I’ve just been putting together a wedding proposal and couldn’t find a Pinterest image which represented an arrangement coming out of the floor so I too sketched it on my iPad. It was a little scratchie but it conveyed the idea. They are friends, so I got the job anyway.

You, like me work from your home studio (also known as my laundry!) I’d like to see your flowering zone?

Oh I love that. It feels quite validating as well, knowing that my process is the same as yours. I just love that you use your iPad too. I would also describe my sketches are 'scratchie' too haha. I might spend some time on YouTube to teach myself how to draw better!

Oooh, yes, I could share a peek inside my studio. What a good shout. That's interesting to know you work from home too. How do you find it in your laundry?!

I LOVE seeing your behind the scenes and reading about all the thoughts and planning that go into the end result. You make it look easy- but it most definitely is not!
